HBY Buffer Seals Design Description:
The main functions of the rod buffer seals in the hydraulic system include several aspects.
First, it buffers the shock pressure or pressure fluctuations produced by the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder, easing the backpressure.
Second, the buffer seal hydraulic cylinder helps cool down the temperature, prevents the overheating from transmitting to the seal, and reduces heat generated from the piston rod seal during operation.
Third, the hydraulic buffer seal reduces the friction resistance caused by the piston rod seal in the hydraulic cylinder. In general, the HBY rod buffer seal provides adequate lubrication to the piston rod seal or other main seals, and it can enhance the gap extrusion resistance, thereby extending the durability of the seal element.
